Lower / Middle School

For a harmonious blend of serious attention to studies and joyful celebration of our rich tradition.

Within the Yeshiva Boys and Girls School, the day contains both secular studies and Judaic studies. Starting in first grade, the secular studies program is balanced to both foster creativity and develop proficiency in language arts, math, science, history, social studies and computer skills. The Judaic studies curriculum  encompasses Torah, Talmud, Prophets, Jewish History and philosophy, as well as conversational Hebrew.

Whenever possible, Judaic studies are incorporated into secular studies. Research papers for an English class may focus on a Jewish theme. History classes include events surrounding the Jewish experience and timeline.

The benefits and beauty of a Yeshiva education is the synthesis of all aspects of learning at every stage of a child\'s development.
