Preschool

Where a child can stretch his muscles, his imagination, and his mind.

The Preschool at Yeshiva includes Kinderland, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and Kindergarten programs designed to serve children between the ages of two and six. Each child enrolled in the Preschool is gently guided to develop the skills, good character traits, and habits that are basic to later learning.

Beginning with an introduction to our Jewish heritage, as well as reading and math skills, Yeshiva provides the foundation for later learning in both Judaic and secular studies. The essential concepts of Ahavas Yisroel, love of a fellow Jew, begins here. Teachers and administrators who exemplify this concept create an atmosphere of genuine love and concern in Jewish context. Children are taught to respect others, as well as to care and provide for them.

Head Start programs in PreNursery and Nursery offer structured learning that provides a strong foundation on which to build both academic and social skills.

The Yeshiva Preschool curriculum is based on emerging evidence that affirms that children learn most effectively through concrete play-oriented approach. Therefore, the Preschool at Yeshiva provides a nurturing environment, using developmentally appropriate activities that promote the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of young children.
